The Book Peddler first opened in 2005.  I had always loved books and helping match books with readers.  When I was nearing my retirement from being a high school guidance counselor I began book scouting and selling books online.  When a spot opened up to have a physical store in White Salmon I nervously accepted the challenge.  In 2009 the store moved across to the sunny side of Jewett street to its current expanded location.
